Wayward helped a London synagogue to explore the transformation of a disused flat, attached to the building, into a home for a Syrian refugee family of four. We made drawings in the initial stages of the project to aid them in the pursuit of funding and support, visualising the space and further developing low budget design solutions that would create a welcoming family home.
It is easy to feel helpless when reading about the refugee crisis, and so we leapt at the chance to do something meaningful - putting our skills as designers to use. Here are some of the drawings we made.
