Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle commissioned Wayward to renovate their primary school courtyard, a 2500m2 space. The project included a new ramp for accessible entry to the school, four new play areas, a highly bespoke new rain shelter to be a flagship entrance, an external building renovation that included a ramp for accessibility, and a large internal courtyard renovation with acoustic design.
The project accommodates an incredible 600 children playing at one time – offering a landscape of challenging, exciting and imaginative play areas while providing visibility, safety and security.
