An enormous thanks from us to all our backers for supporting 'Improbable Botany' as we head towards the finish line. With only ten days to go until the campaign ends, we're delighted to announce a new contributor -- an 11th author -- to our line-up: Rachel Armstrong.
Beyond her work as an author, Futurist and Fellow of the British Interplanetary Society, Rachel Armstrong is Professor of Experimental Architecture at the School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape, Newcastle University. She researches the inner life of “things” seen and unseen, and experiments with the very stuff of life to ask how we may design and build our world differently.
Rachel has written a brilliant short story, titled ‘The Living Stones of Venice,’ which will be included in the finished anthology.
Playing for real money adds a new dimension to online gaming, shifting the focus from entertainment alone to the potential for real-world gains. This elevated experience attracts a more serious and strategic type of player—someone who values not only game variety but also security, fair payouts, and trustworthy operations. When looking for the best real money online casinos in South Africa, it’s essential to assess licensing credentials, banking flexibility, and user feedback. These platforms must offer local currency support, seamless mobile access, and a variety of deposit methods that cater to South African players. A truly competitive site combines these technical capabilities with strong customer service and transparent terms. Success in this space requires more than flashy graphics; it demands consistent performance and accountability. As the appetite for real money gaming grows, only platforms that maintain high ethical and operational standards will continue to thrive.
Thank you again for your support and for helping us to make this project happen!
